| Bio: | I am a wave on the sea... I was born and raised in Nashville, during the seventies and early eighties when it was still part of the south and not an outpost of Los Angeles. I play guitar, bass, a little harmonica, very little keyboard, and can keep time on a bodhron enough to not get thrown out of a drum circle. I wrote my first song when I was 11; I shan't discuss it further but to say I've improved since then. I'm a monarchist with libertarian tendencies. I could explain here, but I don't want to fill my whole day with this. My name is Michael, but the vast majority of my friends call me Egil (usually, but not always, pronouced as Eagle. It's a short but mostly irrelevant story.) I've been Pagan and/or Heathen (with brief flirtations with atheism) for about 15 years, much of which was spent practicing Wicca in the Oak, Ash, and Thorn tradition. I've recently come back home to Asatru, the first place I started in the Pagan community. I've recently become a Linux user. I'm using Kubuntu Gutsy, and have decided that I really do like KDE better. I'm teaching myself bash, python, gimp and blender. I'm in the SCA, where most likely you don't know me as Brandulf Kolbrandson because I haven't had a chance to get out much. I have, however, been out enough to become a Great Dark Horde watchee (thank you ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif){kind=small} tn_lark and brock_tn!), which fact I'm quite proud of.I have a lovely wife, arnlaug, and a most wonderful 20 month old son, Lex. No, not after the bald guy or the wrestler, but yes, short for Alexander and named after the Macedonian general. One might also ironically note that in Latin it means law, which should explain a great deal about the dynamic at my house. I have truly outstanding friends. My diction is usually quite good, especially when considered that my spelling sometimes errant. I blame my keyboard.
